Your family and heroes are connected to the long-term progression of Granado Espada M. Exact systems and rewards can vary by server version, so check their current descriptions in game.
Family progression
PlayPark's Season IV FAQ used Family Level as a condition for the seasonal merge. This is a reminder to check event-specific eligibility rather than assuming that every account qualifies.
The Season IV notice specified Family Level 50 for merge eligibility and described what would happen to families below that threshold. It also said accounts with a family on Felipe had to choose which family to retain. Those were rules for that season, not a guarantee of the conditions for any later season. See the seasonal server guide before comparing server options.
Hero growth
Check the hero and family menus in your current game client for available upgrades and their requirements. PlayPark publishes changes through its official SEA updates.
For a dated example, the publisher's June 16, 2026 update introduced Hero Awakening at Hero Level 200 and listed a Book of Awakening and Grandmaster Promotion Scroll among the requirements. The same announcement described a maximum Awakening Level of 10 at that time. Later changes may supersede those details, so read the present in-game screen and current patch notes before spending materials.
| Progression topic | What to inspect | Source or context |
|---|---|---|
| Family Level | Current level and any event eligibility requirement | Season IV's merge FAQ used a level threshold. |
| Hero level | The hero's current level and available progression menu | The June 2026 Awakening announcement used Hero Level 200. |
| Awakening materials | The current requirements shown in the client | The publisher listed specific materials in June 2026. |
| Team roles | Whether your frontline, damage and support needs are covered | This is a planning aid, not an official tier list. |
Spend resources deliberately
Before upgrading, inspect the character's current skills, the materials required and your team's role balance. Do not assume a tier list from another regional version is current for your server. The starter classes guide provides a role-based overview.
Check whether a selection box or ticket is bound, which character can use it and whether it has an expiry. Read the item's current description before opening or consuming it. Seasonal reward lists can be useful historical examples, but they do not establish that the same rewards are available today.

Frequently asked questions
Are Family Level and Hero Level the same thing?
The publisher's notices refer to them separately: Season IV used Family Level for merge eligibility, while the June Awakening announcement described a Hero Level requirement. Check each screen and event notice for the relevant condition.
When did PlayPark introduce Hero Awakening?
The SEA publisher described it in the June 16, 2026 update. Its listed thresholds and material requirements are historical details and may change.
Which hero should I upgrade first?
This guide does not rank heroes. Consider the characters you own, the role missing from your team and the materials required before making a choice.
Do seasonal rewards apply to every server?
No. Check each announcement's server, eligibility and dates. Season IV rewards were described for that specific seasonal event.
